Outdoor Class Permits

Whether it’s fitness, tai chi, plein air painting or any other low impact outdoor recreational activity, County Parks offers various park sites for you to teach your outdoor classes. From redwood forests to the beach, you can choose one park in the best region for your classes, or multiple parks to cover a range of neighborhoods to suit your clientele!

How to Apply

Review park locations and determine your favorite site(s). Email a completed Request Form to reservations@scparks.com.

After you Apply

Upon approval of your request, a permit will be prepared for your review and signature through DocuSign. Payment is due at the time of signature and can be received by phone, check, or in person. Payment plans may be approved upon request.

Fees, Rules & Regulations

Please review our current pricing, rules, and regulations. Be aware that some sites have special restrictions.

For Outdoor Class Permits, the following is not permitted:

  • Amplified music without approved sound permits.
  • Use of picnic pavilions, athletic fields, and courts.
  • Any alteration or damage by use of staples, nails, screws, bands or ropes attached to parks property and landscapes.
  • Excluding the public's access to parks, trails, beaches, or parking lots.

Cancellations & Changes

Reservation cancellations must be emailed to reservations@scparks.com.
Cancelled reservations will be subject to a fee of 50% of the reservation rental fees.
There are no changes or cancellations within 14 days of the event date.
