Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lesson Format
  • Private & Semi-Private swim lessons are available for all ages 3 & up, including adults!
  • All lessons are 30 minutes and take place during group lesson times.
  • Semi-private lessons are available for 2 siblings around the same skill level.
  • If you are interested in semi-private lessons, you can indicate so when registering.

Pools & Amenities
  • Swim lessons will take place in either the 50-meter lap swim pool or warm water pool, depending on programming.
  • Amenities include locker rooms, bathrooms, ADA-accessible hot showers, lockers (bring your own lock), and swimsuit spinners. No towel service is available.
Accessibility

A water wheel chair is available at the swim center. Each pool has stationary, ADA compliant lifts plus a mobile lift for entry into the pools. An additional gender-inclusive bathroom is available with an ADA shower, changing bed, locker, and toilet.

Kids Swim Lessons

Private and semi-private swim lessons are perfect for children ages 3 & up! Your child will be given undivided attention from one of our experienced swim instructors.

Adult & Teen Swim Lessons

The Simpkins Family Swim Center's private and semi-private swim lessons for adults & teens are perfect for those looking to gain comfortability in the water, develop fundamental aquatic skills, improve stroke development, or refine stroke technique!

Private Contractor Swim Lessons

Simpkins Family Swim Center partners with private contractors to offer more swim lesson opportunities! Private contractors are trusted team members at the swim center and work with students of all ages and abilities to personalize lessons and improve comfortability in the water and develop proper swim technique!

Missed Lessons & Cancellations

Private staff lessons cannot be re-scheduled or made-up.
Private lessons may be cancelled only in the case of an emergency situation and requests must be made in writing. 
If a lesson is cancelled by the Swim Center, a full refund will be issued within 4 weeks.
