Picnic Area Reservations

Felton Covered Bridge Park features one reservable picnic area under the beautiful trees and near the historic covered bridge.  Felton Covered Bridge Park offers a large playing field and playground.   Host a birthday party or family gathering while enjoying the proximity of the river and the history of this unique park.

Outdoor Ceremonies

Felton Covered Bridge Park features the historic covered bridge that stood as the only entry to Felton for 45 years. Dating back to 1892-93, the Felton covered bridge is believed to be the tallest covered bridge in the country. Now a pedestrian bridge that connects to a park, the Felton Covered Bridge is a charming location for intimate ceremonies. Couples are welcome to choose to have the bridge as a picturesque backdrop or as the setting for their ceremony.

Whether it’s fitness, tai chi, plein air painting or any other low impact outdoor recreational activity, County Parks offers various park sites for you to teach your outdoor classes.
