Exhibitions at County Facilities

Paintings, prints, crafts, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, drawings, and mixed-media works by local artists and crafts people are exhibited year-round at the County Government Center, 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz. Exhibits typically run for 2-3 months on the first and fifth floors. The Government Center is open to the public from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, except for holidays and furlough closure dates - please visit http://www.co.santa-cruz.ca.us/ for a list of scheduled closure dates. Local artists also exhibit their work on the first floor of the Simpkins Family Swim Center, 979 17th Avenue in Live Oak, Santa Cruz.
Artists interested in showing their work at a County facility (Government Center, Simpkins Family Swim Center, Health Services Agency, and others) should contact Arts Council Santa Cruz County at 475-9600 for more information, or visit their website at http://www.artscouncilsc.org/.
