Polar Plunge Event 

Wednesday, January 1, 2020

Take the plunge with us on New Year’s Day to raise money for swim scholarships! Participants will collect pledges for how many times they can ride the unheated waterslide! Prizes awarded to the most money raised by a team and an individual. This is a rain or shine event.  For more information call 454-7960.

Free Community Swim Days

September 7, 12-4 PM

The Simpkins Family and the Santa Cruz County Parks Dept. are co-sponsoring two fun FREE swim days, July 4 and Labor Day, which will include the water slide,  climbing wall, Wibit inflatable play apparatus, floating on inner tubes, the Warm-water Pool, 50-meter Pool, and spray zone.  Free swim days are very popular, with over 800 attending last year. Get here early! First-come, first-served! 

 

 

National Learn to Swim Day

Aimed at raising awareness about the importance of water safety and children learning to swim - an essential life skill. Swim center staff will be offering FREE swim lessons from 10AM-12:30PM. Advanced registration is required to participate; sign up at www.scparks.com, or call (831) 454-7953.

 

Monday, May 25, 1 - 4 PM

Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of swimming, games, food, and music! The water slide, aqua climb wall, deep-end inner tubes, and Wibit inflatable will all be available. This event is rain or shine, and regular admission fees apply. Check HERE for the schedule of activities and admission information.

 

FREE Community Swim Day for July is Parks Make Life Better Month

To celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month, we’ve made ALL drop-in activities FREE on Sunday, July 21st. This includes drop-in Lap Swim, Recreation Swim, Water Aerobics, and Adult Fitness!

23rd Annual Superkid Triathlon
