Valencia Hall is a popular location for weddings, parties and weekday meetings. The Valencia Hall and historic General Store/Post Office are the last two remnants of Frederick Hihn's logging community of Valencia. Built by Hihn in the early 1880's, these historic buildings allowed the community to gather for a variety of events. Following in this tradition, Santa Cruz County Parks offers this unique facility for your special event.
A Center Reservation includes the use of the community hall and kitchen.
If you would like to visit Valencia Hall, you may drop-in daily during regular park hours, dawn until dusk, to view the exterior and peek in the windows. Individual tours are unavailable. If the venue is reserved, then you will not be able to walk up to the building or patio area. Valencia Hall is a one room facility that has large windows located on the front and sides of the building to make viewing very easy!
80 maximum year round
60 chairs and 14 six-foot rectangular banquet tables. The kitchen is equipped with residential sized appliances for warm-up and serve food service for your catered or self catered event.
A 6 hour minimum is available year round to reserve your day. Reservation times must include all outdoor/indoor set-up and clean-up (one hour minimum each), and the 5-hour maximum event time, to include ceremonies. Parking is limited within the lot only, not along the roadways. Please review the conditions of use for specific policies.
Weekday only Meeting Room use includes our interior meeting room space only with tables and chairs. Any kitchen use, or exterior use, needs to be added to your reservation by our office. Additional fees may apply. The tables and chairs are not permitted for use on the patio with a meeting room rental.
