Quail Hollow Ranch

800 Quail Hollow Road, Felton

Formerly the home of Sunset magazine's publisher Laurence W. Lane, Quail Hollow Ranch offers a secluded, natural environment for your event. The ranch is not only historically significant but also ecologically notable for its rare sandhills environment and diverse habitats. The house provides a comfortable retreat while the spacious lawn offers scenic views of the pond, orchards and wooded hillsides.

Your reservation includes the living room, kitchen and dining room, and two changing rooms. Also included for your exclusive use is a large lawn area with picnic tables, and a shading oak tree. You also get a five hour sound permit (which includes ceremony music) at no cost which can be outdoors until 8:00pm, and anything overlapping is indoors only.

If you would like to visit Quail Hollow Ranch, you may drop-in daily during regular park hours, dawn until dusk, to view the exterior and peek in the windows. Individual tours are unavailable; however, we do schedule monthly open houses which allows you to view the inside of the facility. Call or email us for the current open house schedule. If the venue is reserved, then you will not be able to walk up to the house or wedding lawn.

We appreciate your understanding that as an active horse ranch, the horse boarders are part of the ambience, so we need to require that our wedding groups do not manage their arrival and departures. The horses are also privately owned so please note that access to the arena and stables is not permitted. Do not feed or touch the horses as requested by the owners.
