Highlands Park

One of our most popular wedding and event sites, Highlands Park House sits within a 26 acre regional park. The historic house which stands today is a favorite among wedding sites as it offers a private, beautifully landscaped and maintained facility for your enjoyment.  Highlands Park was recenlty included in a list of the best 15 Northern California "Woodsy Venues" - read the article in Here Comes the Guide.  

Your reservation includes the Lorenzo Room, Newell Room, a Garden Room with a wet bar, and a large kitchen downstairs, and two changing rooms upstairs. A private lawn with a small archway and brick walkway are included for your exclusive use.

You also get a five hour sound permit at no cost which is allowed indoors only except for ceremony music outdoors (within the five hour time frame). Your Band or DJ needs to be located inside the facility, however they can place their speakers near the windows so it creates a soft background sound and your guests can converse comfortably during the dining portion, and then you move inside for dancing!

If you would like to visit Highlands Park, you may drop-in daily during regular park hours, dawn until dusk, to view the exterior and peek in the windows. Individual tours are unavailable; however, we do schedule monthly open houses which allows you to view the inside of the facility. Call or email us for the current open house schedule. If the venue is reserved, then you will not be able to walk up to the house or wedding lawn.

Capacity
125 people maximum indoors and outdoors on Saturdays during the months of April to mid-June. The capacity increases to the maximum 200 persons on Saturdays mid-June through October. The winter capacity is 100 persons indoors November through March.

Furnishings
125 chairs and 15 eight foot rectangular banquet tables.The kitchen is equipped with residential sized appliances for warm-up and serve food service for your catered or self-catered event.

Reservation Times
Reservation times include set-up, clean-up and a 5-hour maximum event time, to include ceremonies. A 10 hour minimum to reserve your day is required weekends April through October. A 6 hour minimum is available weekdays and in the winter months of November through March.

Meeting Rooms
Weekday only Meeting Room use includes our interior meeting room space only with tables and chairs. Any kitchen use, or exterior use, needs to be added to your reservation by our office.  Additional fees may apply. The tables and chairs are not permitted for use on the patio with a meeting room rental.
